Unlock unlimited recipes, smart grocery merging, and more with a Premium subscription.
What you can do
Upgrade from Free to Premium to unlock:
- Unlimited recipes (Free: 10)
- 200 AI imports/month (Free: 10)
- 1 GB image storage (Free: 25 MB)
- 90-day meal planning (Free: 7 days)
- Unlimited grocery lists (Free: 1)
- Unlimited categories (Free: 5)
- Smart Merge for grocery lists (Free: Basic only)
- Recipe archiving
- Bulk import from Paprika and Mela
Premium pricing
- Monthly: $4.99/month
- Yearly: $49.99/year (save $10)
Step-by-step instructions
On web
- Go to Settings (click your avatar → Settings).
- In the Subscription section, click Upgrade to Premium.
- Choose your plan:
- Monthly ($4.99/month)
- Yearly ($49.99/year)
- You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page.
- Enter your payment details.
- Click Subscribe.
- You'll be redirected back to Spiceful with Premium active.
Alternative: Visit the Pricing page and click one of the upgrade buttons.
On mobile
- Tap the Settings tab.
- Tap Upgrade to Premium in the subscription section.
- You'll be directed to the web to complete checkout (subscriptions are managed on web).
- Complete the Stripe checkout process.
- Return to the app—your Premium status will be active.
Tips
- Yearly saves you $10 compared to monthly ($49.99 vs $59.88).
- Your Premium features activate immediately after payment.
- You can switch between monthly and yearly plans later via Manage subscription.
Troubleshooting
Payment failed
- Check that your card details are correct.
- Ensure your card has sufficient funds.
- Try a different payment method.
- See Troubleshooting billing issues.
Premium not activating after payment
- Wait a moment and refresh the page.
- Log out and log back in.
- If it still doesn't work, contact support with your payment confirmation.
Upgrade button not appearing
- Make sure you're signed into your account.
- If you're already Premium, the upgrade button won't show.
