Rate and favorite recipes
Mark your best recipes as favorites and give them star ratings to remember how much you liked them.
What you can do
- Favorite a recipe to add it to your Favorites list for quick access.
- Rate a recipe from 1–5 stars to track how much you enjoyed it.
When you'd use this
- You made a recipe and want to remember if it was good.
- You want to quickly access your go-to recipes.
- You're deciding what to cook and want to see your highest-rated options.
Step-by-step instructions
Favorite a recipe
On web
- Open the recipe.
- Click the heart icon (♡) near the title.
- A filled heart (❤️) means it's favorited.
- Click again to unfavorite.
On mobile
- Open the recipe.
- Tap the heart icon.
- Tap again to unfavorite.
Rate a recipe
On web
- Open the recipe.
- Find the star rating below the title.
- Click on a star (1–5) to set your rating.
- Click the same star again to remove the rating.
On mobile
- Open the recipe.
- Tap "Rate this recipe" or the star display.
- Tap a star to set your rating (1–5).
- Your rating saves automatically.
View favorites
On web
- Go to the Recipes page.
- Click the view selector and choose ❤️ Favorites.
On mobile
- Tap the Recipes tab.
- Tap the view selector and choose Favorites.
Tips
- Use favorites for recipes you want to access quickly.
- Use ratings to track quality—helpful when deciding what to cook again.
- You can filter your recipes to show only favorites.
Troubleshooting
Rating not saving
- Make sure you have an internet connection.
- Try refreshing the page or reopening the recipe.
Favorites list is empty
- You need to favorite recipes first by tapping/clicking the heart icon on individual recipes.
