Create multiple grocery lists (premium)

Organize your shopping with multiple grocery lists—one for weekly groceries, one for a dinner party, one for Costco, etc.

What you can do

Create separate grocery lists for different purposes or stores. Switch between them easily.

Free users: 1 grocery list Premium users: Unlimited grocery lists

When you'd use this

• You shop at multiple stores and want separate lists for each.
• You're planning a special event and want a dedicated list.
• You want to separate regular groceries from a meal prep session.

Step-by-step instructions

On web

Create a new list

1. Go to Groceries.
2. Click the list name dropdown (shows your current list).
3. Click New List.
4. Enter a name for your list.
5. Click Create.
6. Your new list is now active.

Switch between lists

1. Click the list name dropdown.
2. Select the list you want to view.

Delete a list

1. Switch to the list you want to delete.
2. Click the settings/options menu for the list.
3. Click Delete List.
4. Confirm deletion.

On mobile

Create a new list

1. Tap the Grocery tab.
2. Tap the list selector (shows current list name).
3. In the "Grocery Lists" modal, tap New List.
4. Enter a name and tap Create.

Switch between lists

1. Tap the list selector.
2. Tap the list you want to switch to.

Tips

• Name your lists clearly (e.g., "Weekly Groceries", "Costco Run", "Thanksgiving Dinner").
• When you add ingredients from a recipe, they go to your currently active list.
• Each list has its own checked/unchecked items—checking off items on one list doesn't affect others.

Troubleshooting

"Grocery list limit reached"

• Free accounts can only have 1 grocery list. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited lists.

Items going to wrong list

• Check which list is currently active before adding items.
• Switch to the correct list first, then add.

Can't delete a list

• You must have at least one grocery list. You can't delete your only list.
