Log in, log out, use magic link login, or reset your password to access your Spiceful account.

Account access
Access your Spiceful account from any device using password login, Google sign-in, or magic link. You can also reset your password if needed.
Log in to your account
Your recipes, grocery lists, and meal plans sync automatically when you log in on a new device.
How to log in
On web:
- Go to getspiceful.com/login
- Choose your login method:
- Continue with Google — If you signed up with Google
- Email + Password — Enter your email and password, then click Sign in
- Magic Link — Enter your email and click "Send me the magic" to receive a login link
On mobile:
- Open the Spiceful app
- Choose your login method:
- Continue with Google — If you signed up with Google
- Email + Password — Enter your email and password, then tap Sign in
- Magic Link — Enter your email and tap "Send me the magic"
Tips
- If you use Google sign-in, make sure you're logged into the correct Google account in your browser or device
- Your data syncs automatically across all devices when you log in
Magic link login
Sign in without remembering a password—just click a secure link sent to your email.
When you'd use this
- You don't want to remember another password
- You're signing in on a new device and can't remember your password
- You prefer the convenience of email-based login
How it works
On web:
- Go to getspiceful.com/login
- Enter your email address
- Click Send me the magic (below the password field)
- Check your email inbox for a message from Spiceful
- Click the link in the email—you'll be signed in automatically
On mobile:
- Open the Spiceful app
- Enter your email address
- Tap Send me the magic
- Check your email and tap the link
- The app will open and sign you in
Magic link tips
- Magic links expire after a short time (usually 1 hour) for security
- The link works on any device—you can request it on your phone and click it on your computer, or vice versa
- You can use magic link login even if you originally signed up with a password
Reset your password
Forgot your password? No problem—reset it in a few steps.
When you'd use this
- You can't remember your password
- You want to change it for security reasons
How to reset
On web:
- Go to getspiceful.com/login
- Click Forgot your password? below the password field
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Click Send reset link
- Check your email for a message from Spiceful
- Click the link in the email—it will take you to the reset page
- Enter your new password (minimum 6 characters)
- Click Save new password
- You'll be redirected to log in with your new password
On mobile:
- Open the Spiceful app and tap Sign in
- Tap Forgot your password? below the password field
- Enter your email address
- Tap Send reset link
- Check your email and tap the link
- Enter your new password
- Tap Save new password
Password reset tips
- Password reset links expire after a short time (usually 1 hour). Request a new one if yours has expired
- Choose a strong password that's at least 6 characters long
- If you signed up with Google, you don't have a Spiceful password. Just use Continue with Google to log in
Log out
Sign out of your account when you're done, especially on shared computers.
How to log out
On web:
Option 1:
- Click your profile avatar in the sidebar (bottom-left on desktop)
- Click Sign out
Option 2:
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and click Sign out
On mobile:
- Tap the Settings tab (bottom navigation)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign Out
Common issues
Wrong password
- Use Forgot your password? on the login page to reset it
Logged out unexpectedly
- Your session may have expired for security. Simply log in again
- If this happens frequently, check that your browser isn't clearing cookies automatically
I didn't receive the magic link or reset email
- Check your spam or junk folder
- Make sure you entered the correct email address
- Wait a few minutes and try again
The magic link or reset link says "expired" or "invalid"
- Links are only valid for a limited time. Go back to the login page and request a new one
I clicked the magic link but it didn't sign me in
- Make sure you're clicking the link on the same device/browser, or that the Spiceful app is installed on mobile
- Try requesting a new magic link
I signed up with Google
- Google accounts don't have a Spiceful password. Click Continue with Google on the login page instead
